c1945 Cawsand Bound. It has probably changed most of all when compared with what exists there today. On the left of Glass pool’s Savoy Café is Fred Knapman’s Backsmith’s shop and the house on the right was used as an oil store in the 30’s and 40’s. Prior to the existence of the Bound the beach continued up to the buildings surrounding the area.and Glasspool's Café “Cawsands Cosy Corner” . The house belonged to Bill Turpits House with Wilf Honeys Garage and Store
